Join the Bristol CLT Board

We are inviting applications from people who want to shape the next chapter of Bristol CLT by joining our Board as a Non-Executive Director.

This is an opportunity for those interested in our work to play a key role in guiding the organisation. Board members provide strategic oversight, agree policies, and help steer major decisions, while staff manage day-to-day operations.

What’s Involved?

- Around half a day per month commitment.

- Four evening board meetings per year + two board development days.

- Option to join focused sub-committees (finance, risk, development)

- Support on specific projects or pieces of work that BCLT undertake.

This is a voluntary position with reasonable expenses covered. We’ll be continuing to recruit new board members across 2026, so if you’re curious or considering it for later in the year, we’d love to hear from you.

Who we’re looking for?

We’re keen to hear from people who can bring energy, commitment, and experience in areas such as:

- Housing or land management

- Finance or accounting

- Governance or legal expertise

- Community Led Housing

- Community development or the not-for-profit sector

You don’t need to meet every criterion — we value diverse skills, perspectives, and lived experience.
