What should the next Bristol CLT neighbourhoods and developments look like?

Join us for a discussion exploring the future of Bristol CLT’s work. Together we'll consider how Bristol CLT can create homes and projects that are not only genuinely affordable, but also foster strong communities, support well being, and respond to the challenges of the future.


Non-members are welcome to attend all parts of the event, but only members will be allowed to vote on motions and elections to the board.


10 Years of Fishponds Rd

Bristol Community Land Trust is pleased to be hosting an event on the 20th June 2026 to mark 10 years of the completion of the Fishponds Road development. We want to celebrate the achievement as we come together to reflect on the journey so far with people involved, residents, members and people involved in CLH in Bristol and beyond.


Tom Chance, Chief Executive of the CLT Network will be joining us to talk about CLH, CLTs in Bristol and nationwide, we'll be talking community with residents and a look to the past and future of Bristol CLT. Throughout the event there will be chances to engage and ask questions and a chance at the end to socialise with some refreshments and freshly baked pastries.


This event will include a short tour of the nearby Fishponds Rd development (a few minutes walk away)


Global CLT virtual summit 2026

The 2026 Global Community Land Trust (CLT) Virtual Summit is a six-week series of free online events conceived to reclaim and honor the Black and Indigenous leadership traditions that gave rise to the CLT model and continue to shape community land stewardship globally. Running from May 5 to June 10, 2026, and anchored by World CLT Day on May 15, the summit brings together CLT practitioners, residents, community activists, organizers, researchers, network leaders, partners, and allies to share experiences, reflect on practice, and advance the global CLT movement. Join one event or follow the full six-week global series.

It’s a day to connect participants from across the world, showcase the contributions of CLTs towards affordable housing, community empowerment, and sustainable development, and emphasize the movement’s commitment to inclusive growth and social change. The occasion serves as an opportunity to highlight the diverse and global presence of CLTs, sharing success stories and the positive impact of their work on communities worldwide.
